One of my most delightful memories of Barbara was during one of our lively community sessions - full of drama and singing and every type of creative and life-giving activity. In one of the drama sessions Barbara was asked by Maguy our french facilitator (Maguy definitely had a soft spot for Barbara) to act the part of a girl getting ready for a night out. Barbara was brilliant. As she sat in front of her imaginary mirror she played it to the full - excited, and having fun imagining the night out. She was amazing, taking time over her hair and make-up, all the while playing to the audience. We laughed so much. She was center stage and loved it! And we loved her.

Thank you Barbara for the integral part you played in the life of the community, teaching us so much just in being the person God created you to be. An example to us as you overcame so much.
